When: Sunday mornings, 10:30 am
Where: PDODC training grounds, Jenkins Reserve, corner Saints and Fendon Rds, Salisbury
Why: First timers is an information session about the club, its training methods, its rules and expectations. All new and prospective club members must attend this class when they first join. It gives you a chance to ask questions before deciding to join PDODC.
Equipment: You and your dog. This class will introduce you to any equipment you will need.
Aims: This class will explain:
õ Different collars and leads for training
õ A current vaccination certificate for your dog must be produced
õ The benefits of training with food rewards or a special toy
õ Council regulations for dogs off lead
õ Club requirements
õ Costs of joining the club
õ Other dogs sports offered through the club
õ Answers any questions
